Are the movies in the dark
How you moved is all it takes

He had his fingers crossed

Okay, so after much delay, I bring to you my so-far-favourite edition of...

Today's Feature is...

I literally cannot get over how much I have fallen in love with this film. I have seen it in my shop for a long time now and have always lovingly gazed at it, desperately wondering what's inside of its superb Dali-esque packaging. Nobody I had known had seen it and I didn't want to spoil myself by checking it out online, so I finally took a risk and got it, not knowing anything about it beyond the fact that the outside was beautiful.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen. I judged a 'book' by its cover.

And I couldn't be happier that I did!!

For the past couple of days, though, I knew I had to write about it. I knew I had to put the word out just how brilliant and beautiful and touching this film is. But could I accurately describe in words just how important it was to me without being gushy? Not really. Therefore I am abandoning my time-old method of detailing the characters and plot up until the parts that would ultimately spoil the movie--this one REALLY needs to be seen in a manner of innocence.

Instead, I'd like to present you with images, all the beautiful moments that Tarsem has captured on immortal film that I hope will stick with you as long as they stuck with me.

And because I can never stop myself from making my favorite films into my new favorite outfits...

Luigi

All the costumes, all the locations, every line spoken, every facial expression is just perfect and makes this movie an experience that everyone should have. I hope this post has intrigued you and I hope, if you do see it, that you love it!!

Googly googly googly,
The Glitter Child

Absolutely beautiful post! I STILL haven't seen this movie yet - even though I'm a huge fan of Lee Pace. But I'm adding it to my Netflix queue now! <3
